I have been in post since January 2006 as Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Friarage Hospital Northallerton, a part of South tees University Hospital NHS trust. I am a medically qualified doctor, Consultant and a Specialist Foot and Ankle Surgeon. I provide a tertiary foot and ankle service at the Friarage Hospital.
I am specialized in dealing with disorders of the foot and ankle but I also undertake routine Knee surgery including arthroscopic work and total joint replacements.
Following initial medical schooling, I have spent 15 years to gain specialist Orthopaedic experience. I also worked 12 months in dedicated “foot and ankle surgery units” in the UK. After successfully gaining the FRCS diploma, FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics and I also achieved MSc, and MCh(orth). I am now on the specialist register of the GMC since 2005 and into full time NHS and Private practice in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
